The elimination of toxins from your body is necessary for optimal health. There are 2 types of toxins that build up in your body. Environmental toxins are chemicals such as herbicides, medications and pesticides. Metabolic toxins are those that are produced inside your body, such as undigested food.

A body cleanse will aid you in getting rid of the toxin build-up that occurs over time. Scientists often dispute the idea that body cleanses are good for you, however, many people opt for a body cleanse because of the benefits they derive from it. Many people feel healthier after a body cleanse.

Health Spa Cleanse

You can opt to go to a spa for a body cleanse. There are health spas that offer a 10-day whole body cleanse. This type of program may involve a juice and food detoxification plan for a number of days. It will also include spa treatments such as body wraps and massage. You could opt for the inclusion of herbal supplements whilst you are on the treatment plan. This can be quite an expensive option. It is possible for you to achieve the same results by doing a body cleanse from home, at a fraction of the cost of going to a health spa.

Requirements for a Successful Body Cleanse

Remain hydrated with the help of sufficient liquid intake and water-rich foods. Get enough rest, both emotionally and physically. Aim to minimize your exposure to external and internal toxins.

Green Juice Recipes

Do not wait any longer! Go green! Green foods have overwhelming nutritional and health benefits. The benefits of green food can be reaped only if it comes from farms, where no pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used to grow organic produce then shipped to groceries. Juicing supporters strongly believe that our digestive system can function more efficiently when drinking raw green vegetables. Although we lose some benefits of consuming fiber when drinking green produce, it takes less body energy to digest food in liquid form. More so, processing vegetables in any way reduces or even destroys some of their enzyme content, which some say can impede, not promote, digestion. With juicing, it is believed that these food enzymes are not only preserved, but our digestive system also gets a “break.” Regular consumption of green foods rich in vitamin C helps the body protect from scurvy and develop strong resistance against infectious agents. Hence, it boosts immunity and hunts harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals from the body that is why its such a powerful Body Cleanse Recipe.

If they need to be stored, we should place them in plastic wrappings or in zip pouches to keep them fresh until juicing them.
